Activity 4. Read this article about the technological process. Then, write in your notebook this mind map of the steps or stages in a project.
Activity 5. Read the document below about the Report of a project (Informe o Memoria de un proyecto). Study the different parts because your teacher will make sure you understand them.

Activity 7. Read the document below about the safety and hygiene rules in the workshop. Then, make a poster with pictures or drawings that illustrate every rule. To do that, use the Canva online tool.

Activity 8. Look for information on the internet about the basic tools in the workshop. Using word processor software (Google Docs), create a document that includes: name of the tool (in English and in Spanish), picture, function and other information. Share the document with your teacher ([email protected]).

The tools you have to include are:
- Tools to measure and draw (herramientas para medir y trazar): steel ruler (regla de taller), square ruler (escuadra de taller), tape measure (flexómetro) and compass (compás de puntas).
- Tools to hold (herramientas para sujetar): vice (tornillo de banco), clamp (sargento o gato), pliers (alicates).
- Tools to cut or saw (herramientas para cortar o serrar): coping saw (sierra de marquetería o segueta), handsaw (serrucho de mano), backsaw ( sierra de costilla ), hacksaw (sierra de arco), scissors (tijeras) and cutter (cúter).
- Tools to file (herramientas para afinar o desbastar): file (lima), rasp (escofina) and abrasive paper (papel de lija).
- Tools to drill (herramientas para taladrar): hand drill (barrena) and electric drill (taladro eléctrico).
